Red Cross New Zealand Fundamental Principles

The Red Cross Fundamental Principles

Red Cross New Zealand’s mission is to improve the lives of vulnerable people by mobilising the power of humanity and enhancing community resilience.

The Red Cross Fundamental Principles guide all that the organisations does, whether they’re helping people in New Zealand communities or providing urgent relief in an international disaster. These seven principles are the lifeline, connecting Red Cross New Zealand with the Red Cross Red Crescent Movement and the 190 National Societies throughout the world.
